Healthy Life Kidz Club Cottesloe

With separate big kids’ and babies’ rooms, our Kidz Club caters to a range of ages and needs.

In the babies’ room we are able to provide a safe and highly supervised environment.  The room is designed to create a calm and soothing atmosphere but also to stimulate, and encourage babies to explore their environment, developing mobility and coordination.  Our baby board records the essential information about your baby each visit – whether they are hungry, sleepy or just want a play.

Activities

The Kidz Club is set up to allow children to follow their own interests.  We have a great library with many willing story-tellers on standby; puzzles, games and toys galore; cubby kitchen and wonderful dress-ups for make believe.  Children can colour in their favourite characters or sculpt them out of play dough.  Movies provide some quiet time and fascinating craft activities occupy the busy bees.

Guidelines

The Kidz Club welcomes children from the age of six weeks while parents are using the Healthy Life facilities.  During school holidays we cater for school age children with age appropriate activities.  The maximum stay is two hours.  There is no need to book, just come along.

Staff

Our staff are experienced, caring and fun-loving.  Each one brings their particular talents to enrich and entertain your child.

Manager – Caroline aims to inspire fun and creativity.  With a background in jewellery making and ceramics, a keen interest in arts and crafts, Caroline also has participated for many years in ballet and creative dance.  Caroline combines this with a lifelong involvement with children to create fun and fabulous avenues for children’s self-expression.

What to Bring

We encourage parents to send a snack and drink with their children.  Snack time can be reassuringly familiar as well as a social activity.  The Kidz Club has a nut-free policy to protect all our children.
