Fiona Naumann, is currently a Senior Lecturer of Clinical Exercise Physiology and Postgraduate Coordinator of the Exercise Science Degree at The University of Notre Dame Australia, Fremantle.

Fiona has over 12 years lecturing experience in the area of exercise physiology and more recently in the clinical exercise physiology and rehabilitation area. Fiona is also the clinic manager for the Institute for Health and Rehabilitation Research, which includes the coordination of an Exercise Physiology teaching clinic and staff fitness program for the University staff. Fiona completed a PhD, at the University of Melbourne’s Department of Medicine, focusing on osteoporosis prevention and bone health, pioneering the work in maximizing bone mineral density in the growing skeleton. She is now an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA) and is currently the Exercise Physiology (EP) Director for the WA Chapter of ESSA. Fiona also completed her Registered Clinical Exercise Physiology (RCEP) certification with the American College of Sports Medicine.

Fiona spent a year in the United States of America, assisting in a Breast Cancer Rehabilitation program at the University of North Carolina and has established a sister program at the University of Notre Dame Australia, Fremantle Campus. Fiona currently heads of multi-disciplinary cancer survivor research team at Notre Dame, comprising researchers from the school of Medicine, Counselling, Preventive Health and Exercise and Sports Science, investigating the benefits of exercise and counselling for enhancing cancer survivorship. Fiona is also a qualified Pilates and Reformer Instructor, Cycle and RPM instructor and a Body Pump instructor.
