March sees us fall into the apparent Autumn before plunging into the winter abyss of June but so far March is forecast to be hotter & more pleasant than the last month of summer.

So, armed with that information please keep brining in your workout towel to place on the equipment & maintain your own & the club’s excellent hygiene standards. Also remember to hydrate with cool to room temperature water while exercising.

March sees the friendly & 18-year long serving Carolyn Latta depart the club for a country WA lifestyle in Toodyay. Everyone at the club thanks Carolyn for her wonderful Body Balance mind & body programs over the years & if we reflect back further, then to her days of vigorous Body Combat too.

Those hyper-active days seem eons ago while her final Body Balance was back in February 2018. Angie Brookes the grand mistress of Body Balance in all of Australia kindly stepped into the breach for the interim period after Carolyn had to step down.

As of Wednesday 7th March 2018, Michelle Jennings the marine biologist & now long standing Yogi brings in her popular Yin-Yoga at 1015am every Wednesday. Those of you whom were doing the Body Balance with Carolyn at 1015 will now be able to elongate, stretch & tone in Yin-Yoga with Michelle & her ardent followers. Please try out the Yin-Yoga session which is predicted to attract 40 odd patrons per session.

Monday nights gets a shake-up too with the athletic & strong Kat Dennis turning her popular 1800 Body Pump into a 30/30 split of Body Pump followed by the immortal Body Combat.

You are welcome to take the challenge of the full hour of the dynamic & explosive 30/30 class or just drop into the initial Body Pump or indeed the latter half of the session for the even more testing Body Combat.

This new format commences Monday March 19th at 1800 for Body Pump & 1830 for Body Combat. Come along & bring a friend if you wish to try it out. You will feel the energy turbines banging through your body as you hit the double header of a class.

In the main gym we have placed two new iron bars, chrome-nickel plated, that are 1,000 kilogram load bearing Olympic bars, so your power lifting should be steadier & balance improved while comfort of hand upon bar firmer.

Marshy has taken over the Meta-Fit / HIIT / Body Core personal trainer delivered zero six hundred hours Thursday morning wake-up session.

Marshy will be delivering a series of early morning mega HIIT sessions during his March Madness series. In April the class will rotate between John Duncalf PT, Ashleigh Jones PT & Marshy Mcardle PT. Make sure you test your skills & fitness levels in these vigorous early morning sessions.

Easter weekend comes early this year with Good Friday on 30th March 2018 which will see the club on 24/7/365 access only while Saturday, Easter Sunday will be normal staffed hours & normal classes & Easter Monday will see the usual public holiday hours of 0800-1200 & three great GX classes of the usual RPM Cycle, Body Pump & Yoga.
