I am a qualified personal trainer and group fitness instructor, with a certificate 3 & 4 in Fitness. I currently train groups of women in outdoor HIIT classes, with a focus on pre and post-natal fitness, as well as metafit and other freestyle indoor group fitness instructing.
I was introduced to sport at a very young age and was hooked almost immediately by the way it made me feel physically, as well as mentally and emotionally by belonging to part of a team. Even as a young child, I was always pushing, challenging and putting my body through its paces to see just what it was capable of and quickly took my sporting hobbies to a competitive level. Years on, my passion, motivation and energy for sport and fitness still remains high.
In addition to working in the fitness industry as a personal trainer, I also have a background in health management and sport administration management. I believe you can never learn enough and have over the years, consistently managed combining full-time work with various studies. During this time, I relied on exercise as an outlet, and along with proper nutrition, a way to ensure my physical, mental and emotional health was on track to sustain this lifestyle.
As a personal trainer, this has become the basis for my training style and I strive to help others realise that they too can benefit from making a health and fitness commitment to themselves amidst the busy lives we all lead. I believe that the difference between I can and I can’t, is your attitude!
